Clonmel Baptist Church

Serving

God calls each of us to be His hands and feet in the world. Serving is an opportunity to use your gifts, time and talents to bless others and strengthen the Church community. Whether it’s welcoming newcomers, teaching children, supporting events or helping behind the scenes, serving not only impacts others—it transforms your own faith as you experience the joy of giving yourself for God’s purposes.

Where We Are

Clonmel Baptist Church is in the heart of Clonmel (E91 X5T7), making it easily accessible for people from the town and surrounding areas. Our doors are open to all who wish to join us for worship, fellowship, and community. We have some parking available on site, as well as unrestricted road parking along Cashel Road. There is a bus stop right outside the church near Railway Gate on Cashel Road, and we are just a 10-minute walk from Clonmel Town Centre. Our 11:00 am service currently meets at the Bridge Centre, Cashel Road, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary (E91 X5T7).

The 10 O'Clock

Our main Sunday service takes place at Bridge Centre, Cashel Road, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, E91X5T7. We begin together with worship, including an opening prayer, a hymn, a Scripture reading from Psalms, and a brief exhortation, followed by a time of supplication and intercessory prayer. Afterward, we sing three worship songs before children and young people are invited to join their age-appropriate Sunday classes and activities. A supervised crèche is provided for our youngest members, and structured groups are available for children aged 3 through Year 6, ensuring everyone can learn, grow, and enjoy fellowship in a safe and nurturing environment.

Sundays at 6

At 6pm we meet in the church for a service of evening worship focused on discipleship - being built up in Christ and encouraged to live for him every day. Our services will include times of sung worship, saying sorry to God for when we don’t live his way, hearing from God’s word and having it explained to us, and praying for our world. The service will end by 7:15pm. After the service at 7:30pm our youth group for those in school years 10-13 meets for bible study and fellowship.

You're very welcome - no prior experience needed! Everything you need for the service, including the words of all the hymns and songs, will be on the screens, as well as on a service sheet you will be offered when you arrive. After our services we share refreshments together, which is a great chance to catch up, chat about what God is doing in our lives or has taught us in the service, and to make new friends.

Come in whatever clothes you feel comfortable wearing. Most of our congregation dress fairly casually on Sunday mornings but there are no hard and fast rules.

We have groups for children and young people up to age 14 at our 10am Sunday service - visitors and newcomers are always welcome, just head to the families, youth & children's stand as you come in to church.

There is level access into the church building and into the church centre. There are a limited number of designated disabled parking spaces. Our 10am service is currently at St Bede's school, which also has level access and disabled toilets.
